Am 30. April 2026 hat Charlie Risso im Rahmen einer Tour durch Österreich und Deutschland im Trio das Haus der Musik in Wien bespielt. Als support war Almuth zu hören – insgesamt ein großartiger Konzertabend.
Almuth wusste mit einem 30-Minuten-Set zu überzeugen: solo, mit E-Gitarre und einer unglaublich klaren, hellen Stimme, die die Lieder tragen konnte. Somit war sie die passende Vorgruppe für das Trio aus Genua: die Band um die Sängerin Charlie Risso, deren Timbre etwas dunkler als das von Almuth ist, hatte wie zu erwarten ein starkes Set auf Lager. Psychedelische Songs aus dem neuen Album „Rituals“. Gitarrist und Bassist Robin Manzini und Davide Chiogga am Schlagzeug legten die Basis für ein rundum gelungenes Konzert. Ende April vielleicht schon ein Konzert das Jahres? Könnte sein. Mitreisende Fans können in den nächsten Tagen in Hamburg und Magdeburg live dabei sein. (jm)
